Speakers Series
Each semester, the Center for Language Acquisition, in conjunction with the Gorski, Spector and Gil Watz sponsored speaker series, brings internationally renowned leading scholars in applied linguistics and related fields to the University Park campus. These individuals present their latest research and are available to meet with Penn State faculty and students. A complete list of sponsored speakers is available here.
In addition, the Center for Language Acquisition now offers videos of speakers' presentations. The Speaker Series Videos page is currently in development. Below please find the videos that are available at the present time. These videos require you to have installed the Apple QuickTime plug-in (this is a free plug-in that is available here). Each presentation is divided into several clips, approximately fifteen minutes in length.
